According to LOPD regulations it is possible within the business premises of ROBINSON Hoteles España & Portugal at ROBINSON Club Cala Serena, Felanitx and Palma de Mallorca for the user to access his or her data, to amend this data or to delete it and to forbid the processing of his or her personal data.
In the case of incomplete information being provided in the obligatory fields of an electronic form the application by the user cannot be processed under certain circumstances.
Within the particular website on which the electronic form was placed there is information concerning the purposes for which the personal data provided by the user will be used.
The personal data made available to us by the user will basically be used to answer his or her inquiries and to inform him or her about new business activities, products and services provided by ROBINSON Hoteles España & Portugal. In accordance with Articles 11 and 34e of the LOPD the user hereby gives his or her approval for his or her personal data to be passed on to affiliated hotel companies which are part of the ROBINSON group and to other companies co-operating with them for the purposes of fulfilling the obligations contained in the conditions of use which are presented here.
By means of this consent the user has indicated that he/she has been notified of the provisions of Article 27 of the LOPD concerning the initial transfer of personal data.
At the present time this consent to the transfer of personal data can be revoked at any time. Any such revocation cannot however be made retrospective.
In the case that the user makes data from third parties available to ROBINSON Hoteles España & Portugal then the user is obliged, in the context of the regulations set out under Article 5.4 of the LOPD, to inform the third party concerned before the data is transfered about the content of the data to be transfered, the origin of the data, the storage of the data on a separate data carrier, the people authorized to access the data, the access rights of the third party concerned with respect to this data, and the possibilities of correcting the data or forbidding its use.
The user must furthermore inform the affected third parties about the currently valid conditions of use which are being employed by ROBINSON Hoteles España & Portugal.
ROBINSON Hoteles España & Portugal is hereby to treat the personal data provided by the user in confidence and to only use this data according to the stipulated conditions.
The user is hereby informed that all technical and organisational security measures have been taken on the part of ROBINSON Hoteles España & Portugal to protect personal data and to prevent its unauthorized alteration, loss, processing and unauthorized access to it according to the current level of technology, according to the nature of the data, and the associated risks in terms of human activities and physical or natural effects. This last part is to fulfil the requirements of Article 9 of the LOPD in connection with Royal Decree 994/1999 of 11 June 1999 concerning the introduction of regulations concerning security measures associated with automated carriers of personal data.
Right to information / Your rights
You are entitled on request and without charge to receive information about the data which is stored about you. Furthermore, you have the right to amend, delete or block any incorrect data. Under some circumstances deletion of the data could be in conflict with legal requirements, especially where data is stored for accounting and bookkeeping purposes.
